Bender's Tale is a multi-media assemblage based a true story by Albert K. Bender.
Bender shut down his International Flying Saucer Bureau in 1953 following a series of visits from three, mysterious Men in Black. He later wrote about his ordeal in his 1962 book, Flying Saucers and the Three Men, a fantastic amalgam of pulp science fiction and dime novel mysticism. In this assemblage, the silhouetted Man in Black speaks a monologue taken directly from a dream chronicled in the book while spotlights and shadowy planets swirl behind him.
